Important Information
"Pets and other animals tend to need few calories per pound as they get bigger. For example if a hummingbird were 150 lbs it would need about 155,000 kcals/day; if an elephant were 150 lbs it would need 700 kcal/day. Similarly, larger breed dogs need fewer calories per pound than smaller breed dogs.
Reduce food calories provided by chews, treats, and people-food from total daily caloric intake. We suggest no more than 5% of daily calories be sourced from chews, treats, or people-food that is not nutritionally formulated into the total diet.
Feeding Puppies or Kittens?
To ensure you are feeding an adequate diet to puppies and kittens, all you have to do is add one of our milk products to any of our diets.
